What the MSD Rate Commission does
- Reviews all rate proposals
- Hosts public hearings on rate proposals
- Makes a recommendation to MSD’s Board of Trustees
The Rate Commission is reviewing the 2018 Stormwater Capital Rate Proposal.
- The Stormwater Capital Rate Proposal will help MSD address localized flooding and erosion problems.
- The annual charge is expected to be about $27 per year or $2.25 per month for the average single family homeowner.
- The Rate Commission will hold public hearings in May and June 2018 to present information and hear the public’s comments on the proposed rate increase.
- The proposition is expected to be presented to voters in April 2019.
